Firewise Workshop

• A How To Have A Firewise Home event will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010 at the Neshoba County Coliseum.. This event is sponsored by the Mississippi Forestry Commission and the Neshoba County Soil and Water Conservation District.  There is no charge for your participation.  Pre-registration is required.  Please complete the registration form and return by fax to (601) 656-7904 or mail to Neshoba County SWCD, 511 East Lawn Drive, Philadelphia, MS 39350  Deadline for pre-registration is October 18th. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the program beginning promptly at 9:30 a.m. and ending at approximately 1:00 p.m.  For more information, please contact Marianna Lea at (601) 656-8783 ext. 3. Registered Foresters are eligible for 2 hours of Category II CFE Credit, Certified Loggers are eligible for 2 hours of Category II credit and Realtors are eligible for 3.00 hours of Elective Real Estate Course Approval Code 10181.
