Tree City USA is a national recognition program
that provides a basis for a good community forestry program. Cities must
meet four program criteria as follows:
Applications must be submitted
annually to maintain Tree City USA status. Some of Mississippi’s most
successful municipal programs used Tree City USA as a basis to start their
